Carried by the Wind
Concept
Wind cannot be seen. But it can be felt, and it can be designed. This work was built around the idea of making the invisible visible — flowers that sway, hang, and drift, giving form to the air moving through the space.
Design Approach
Suspended flower curtains run the length of the open-air venue, designed to catch and reveal the movement of the breeze coming off Awaji Island. The installation is not static: it lives and shifts with the conditions of the day, making each moment of the ceremony unrepeatable. The flower bag carried by the bride was not a commission but a styling proposal — developed to complement the texture and weight of her jacket, treating floristry as an extension of fashion rather than decoration set apart from it.
