Aurora
Concept
A flat surface, made to feel infinite. The goal was not to fill a space with flowers, but to create a plane that shifts with light — one that reads differently from every angle, like the sky on a night when color moves.
Design Approach
The structure begins with line. Branches were woven into a curved grid, creating a three-dimensional frame that arcs through the space rather than sitting flat against it. Flower selection was integral to the design from the start — each material chosen for how it would read at different distances and in different light conditions. Soft blooms catch and diffuse light; structured stems hold the geometry. Together they create a surface that appears to shift and glow as guests move through the room. The installation was designed to be experienced in motion: seen from across the room, then up close, it reveals a different work each time.
