Floral Haute Couture

Concept

A garment is built leaf by leaf, stitch by stitch. This work takes that logic into floristry — treating each petal and stem as a piece of pattern, assembled with the same precision and intention as a couture dress. Flowers as fabric. The bouquet as a garment worn once, and never again.

Design Approach

Every flower and leaf was selected in direct dialogue with the dress — its fabric weight, texture, sheen, and silhouette. Where the gown is structured, the florals soften. Where the fabric is delicate, the stems are chosen for their fineness rather than their volume. Nothing was chosen for beauty alone; each element earns its place by what it adds to the whole. The assembly process mirrors couture construction: leaves joined one by one, building surface and depth gradually, until the piece holds its own shape and presence. The result is not a bouquet that accompanies a dress. It is a work that completes it.
